Senator Penny Allman-Payne
Well, please ask you we'll have officials come to the table.Yeah, tell us.
Hon Anne Ruston
So it's just in relation to how many participants are in the justice system.
John Dardo
Uh Senator Scott McNorton.Um we have currently been supported by our justice planning team.
Scott McNaughton
Um 2,973 participants.
Hon Anne Ruston
2,973.
Scott McNaughton
And they're not all participants. So there's that we work with about 5.5,000 people. Some of those may become participants, some may not be.This is the early stages of working with the justice system.
Hon Anne Ruston
So is it possible to break down the five and a half thousand people in terms of custody on remand awaiting following sentencing, you know, bail, probation, parole, um community-based order, um, or in the potential process of coming intothe system?
Scott McNaughton
Senator, we'll take on notice what we can.But I'll see what we can get from our justice planning teams for you.
Hon Anne Ruston
Okay, well, if that's not possible, if you could provide um the participants with specialised justice planning responses. So is that the 2,973?Okay, so um so is it are we seeing an increase in number there?Yep.Okay, it'd just be if you can just maybe in the last three years, just give us the numbers of how many people are under under that planning um specialised justice planning response, that would be great.Um do you have like an uh breakdown the the the average of amount of a plan for somebody who's in that category of officer?
