Hon Anne Ruston

Sure, it would just be interesting to have a look at that if um yeah um sort of like number of active participants within those budget um breakdowns. Um so can I just ask about some updated data on plan reassessments for the 25-26 year? Um section I believe it's 47A and 48 broken down by um by scheduled and unscheduled reassessments.

David Gifford

I think it's still

Scott McNaughton

uh Senator Scott McNorton, Deputy CEO. Um I have the figures for total plan reassessments. I don't have them broken down by section 47As and 48s, but I can give you total reassessments.

Hon Anne Ruston

Yeah, sure.

Scott McNaughton

Um so total reassessments in the just the last financial year do you want it by quarter? No, just by the last financial year, the total number of reassessments was 192,633. And then we break that down by where they variations upwards or downwards or stayed the same by quarter. I'm not sure.

Hon Anne Ruston

Is that information publicly available?

Scott McNaughton

Uh I I've given it earlier in the hearing, I can give it again to you.

Hon Anne Ruston

No, no, no, no, that's fine. If you've given it early in the hearing, um that's that's absolutely fine. Um can I just uh quickly move to NDI's transport supports and then I'll handle you, though. Page 24?

Scott McNaughton

Senator, can you um just to make sure we've got the right witness if you want to get the specifics of the question?

Hon Anne Ruston

Okay. Um it's around um data on transport supports paid to participants, and it's particularly in relation to a Senate question the last estimates 000135. So I'm just keen, you provided uh a response to that question, um, but I'm just wondering if there is any more updated information that would include the full 25-26 financial year and the most recent quarter.

Scott McNaughton

We would have to take that on notice, sorry, sir.

Hon Anne Ruston

Um so just and obviously understanding you'll take that on notice as well. I'd just like to know the total expenditure on transport supports for that period of time, both as a whole for the financial year in Q1 2637 against level one, level two and level three in each of those years. Um breakdown of expenditure and number of participants for those years who received a taxi subsidy up with payment. Um just in that set why um why people may receive an amount for the taxi subsidy in addition to the transport support payment is does that happen and why?

Scott McNaughton

We will take all that on notice though, data range for you, Senator.

Hon Anne Ruston

Um also are these made as payments or do the people required to reconcile them,

Scott McNaughton

or are they just the level one, level two, level three are periodic payments.

Hon Anne Ruston

Okay.

Scott McNaughton

The others um there is a claiming provision for some of the others, but the level one, level two, level three are periodic payments.

Hon Anne Ruston

So you're eligible assessed as eligible for them and you just get paid it.

Scott McNaughton

Yeah, it's it's actually the the old Commonwealth um mobility allowance it rolled into the scheme in 2013.

Hon Anne Ruston

I thought it was disappearing. Clearly it didn't.

Scott McNaughton

It will need to disappear as part of the policy. It will need to be reviewed as part of the policy settings into new framework planning, but at the moment it exists.

Hon Anne Ruston

Okay. Um and also an update on the debts owed to the NDIA by both participants and providers. I think the last debt level that was provided was March, the March quarter in 2026. So the last two quarters.

Scott McNaughton

We can take the Mr. Danta might have some current debt information, but we can take that on notice.

Hon Anne Ruston

Yeah. And also in that sense, the amount that's owed, the number of providers, the number of participants, um the active repayments that are in place and interested to understand how those debt repayments are managed within the agency. Um if you're able to provide um any level of detail about the debt amounts, for example, how many providers within the bands of uh the amount? Okay, Chair, I'm happy to hand over to my colleague, unless there's somebody else who's no further questions from us.
