>> and how many nights accommodation is

Mr. David Higgins

this for in total? Um I I couldn't uh tell you um in in terms of the information I have in front of me because it's a these um these venues were used for to support delegates. They're also used to support workforce accommodation. And so there's a there's a a range of arrangements. Delegates might have been on the ground for for 3 or 4 days. Some of the workforce were there for for longer. This was also to support the the Fijian workforce. So um I would have to take on on notice a breakdown with respect to to knights

Hon Sarah Henderson

>> if you could please and if you could come back to us u today um that would be if you can that would be appreciated. What did the what is the cost of ground

Mr. David Higgins

>> Um I I don't have a ground transport total um for you senator in part because Fiji was responsible for delivering transport. We provided support for it in terms of um a range of elements um including uh providing some sort of operational and logistical support but transport services um in the main were provided by the government of Fiji.

Hon Sarah Henderson

>> So you've mentioned that there might be some reimbursement from delegates and others. How much money are you is it expected that you will actually the government will be spending? What's the actual cost that's estimated based on agreements that have been made for reimbursement?

Mr. David Higgins

>> So, I I've given you the outer bound of the of the total accommodation and venue cost. I cannot give you an accurate indication of of how much will be recouped from from that amount, Senator.

Hon Sarah Henderson

>> So, can you give me a ballpark?

Mr. David Higgins

>> I I I can't, I'm afraid. Not until the that that has been reconciled.

Hon Sarah Henderson

>> So, who's agreed to repay their costs?

Mr. David Higgins

again, Senator, I I um I don't have that information in front of me. Um we retained the the government of Australia retained um accommodation across a range of venues in order to ensure that there were was going to be ample accommodation for delegates attending. that that's the arrangement we entered into. The the reconciliation with respect to to um who used those those rooms and for for what length is is still being resolved with the with the venues themselves. Um and and I I cannot give you an accurate

Hon Sarah Henderson

>> and when will that reconciliation process conclude?

Mr. David Higgins

>> Um I I suspect it will probably take the the rem about another month or so according to our technical people, but um I I certainly don't have it now. Uh
