more difficult for renewables and in aninstance where you have um largeindustrial demands such as tomaga or itcould be data centers providing the PPAsthat's an opportunity I think to pullthrough those um renewables projectsinto the sector and have CFC bank themand bank them in a way that is secure sothat we're not losing or risking financeon behalf of Australian taxpayers.

>> I'm just going to I've just got a rangeof other questions. I'm just going tomove through before I>> um ask for Senator Smith to be given thecall. Uh just wanting to understand withthe rewiring the nation funduh what's been expendedto date and how much has been
Speaker 27
>> Thank you, Senator. So I'll answer thisquite carefully um if that's okay.So when we uh commit to projects, wehave a contractual obligation to fundthose to a particular amount. So ourcommitments to date under the rewiringthe nation fund is $10.6 billion.
Hon Sarah Henderson
>> And what what is under negotiation? Howmuch is under negotiation? Because thefund is worth somewhat 20 billion. Uh
Speaker 27
our current fund is worth $ 19.65billion.
Hon Sarah Henderson
>> Right. Pretty close to 20.
Speaker 27
>> Pretty close to 20. Correct.
Hon Sarah Henderson
>> Right. Thank you.
Speaker 27
>> Um so we we have a number of otherprojects currently under negotinegotiation which would take us close tothat number 19.65.Um I think you asked another questionbefore about uh total deployed inreworing the nation. So we've deployed atotal out of the 10.6 six of a bit over$2 billion. At 30 June, we've had some repayments ofthose funds that were deployed. So,we're down to about 1.6 billion indeployed funds. And that reflects thenature of these very large projects. So,Marinus Link as an example, ourcommitment there is $3.8 billion, andthat will probably start drawing inDecember of this year.
