Senator Dean Smith
So when it comes to accommodation for officials, how is that arranged or organised?
Ms Jodie George
Accommodation is booked the same as flight arrangements as well.So accommodation is required to be booked through the whole of government travel system CTM?
Senator Dean Smith
What uh what forward um do you have any information in terms of what forward uh travelis anticipated for the department?
Ms Jodie George
Um I don't have that available, so we we do have obviously book um trips that have been booked through CTM for future arrangements, but um we don't have a mechanism where we capture intended flights that have not yet been booked through CTM.
Senator Dean Smith
Are any expected further savings anticipated in the next financial year? Are there any formal requirements of government to deliver further savings?
Mr Jim Betts
The savings which have been handed down in previous budgets have a multi-year effect.Um but um as to what might eventuate um that would be a matter for future budget consideration by government.
