Mr Jim Betts

Well, we can certainly provide a list where the approval is in place or where a booking is.

Senator Dean Smith

Sorry, Mr. Betts, I missed that?

Mr Jim Betts

Where we we'll see what information we can provide.

Senator Dean Smith

Um there are clearly a schedule, there are international events which Ministers, Mr. Minister Feifield, for example, has previously attended. So if you could provide me a schedule of future anticipated international events that are known to you that may

Mr Jim Betts

where it is the expectation that the Minister would attend, is that what I'm saying?

Senator Dean Smith

Where the Minister may.

Mr Jim Betts

Well, there's a lot of international events.

Senator Nita Green

Can I um because it would ultimately be a decision of the Minister? So the advice can come from the Department about an event and the benefit of the Minister perhaps attending. But it would be a decision for a minister to actually seek approval from the Prime Minister for that travel. So if I could finish my answer, I'm happy to take on notice for you, um, Senator. Um whether there are any international events planned or um whether there's under consideration the advice I have at the moment is that there isn't any future um international events being considered right now, but that obviously changes over time, so I'll take it on notice for you in case it's changed since the advice I received.

Senator Dean Smith

So what are you taking on notice for me, Minister? Um at a high level, what might that look like?

Mr Jim Betts

Sorry. So I can't really provide you with a useful list of things that might occur.

Senator Nita Green

We'll give you the big list if you like. Um considered over the next forward program.

Senator Dean Smith
