>> and senator it was something that weactually discussed at our executiveboard just last week and one of theother trends that we are noticing isactually just the proliferation ofcomplaints generated by AI as well. Itwas [clears throat] a conversation thatwe had around um how and this is not auncommon issue across other publicservice agencies as well is just umresponding in a timely manner to what isuh you know an increase in the number ofcomplaints that are put that that arebeing seen across complaint mechanismsin other agencies as well largelygenerated by artificial intelligence.
Senator Kerrynne Liddle
can you tell me how many of thoseactually are? I mean, they're they'repretty obvious if they're form letters,if they're complain, if they're AIgenerated. I mean it's a big claim tosay that um AI is playing a part in
Speaker 22
>> senator by by their nature um and and II don't want to um you know by no meansraw complaints being AI generated butthere are some clear markers for thosethat that are clearly AI generatedinstead of being a perhaps a one or atwo-page letter of complaint we could bereceiving up to 15 or 16 pages of of AIgeneratedum text that that uh often brings inmatters quite unrelated to to the natureof the the complaint itself. Uh it isresulting in additional effort and timefrom the complaints team to actuallyanalyze these letters and reallyunderstand the nature of the complaint.um understand who the appropriate partyis that that we can deal with so that wecan as I said before ensure that we aredealing with complaints as quickly as wecan and as appropriately as we can.
