Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> Thank you so much. >> Um I want to go to corridor funding arrangements. Just to clarify, does Australian government funding allocated to individual projects listed within each corridor package equal the total Australian government funding commitment published for that corridor? Typically >> typically yes there is sometimes a corridor unallocated which we talked about earlier today which is an item
Bill Brummitt
that is also included in the corridor
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> Okay. So I've just got a couple of corridors that I just want clarity on. So, can the department confirm that the nine projects listed under the new highway corridor package have a combined Australian government funding allocation of 1.120 and whoever's doing the Bruce Bruce Highway can get ready to jump up next. >> what that number is. >> That would be amazing. >> So there is uh $119.2
Senator Matt O'Sullivan
million of unallocated funding within the
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> Sorry, say that again. I missed the number
Senator Matt O'Sullivan
>> 119.2
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> 12 million in the new on the new coridor >> and is that one project or it's just an unallocated amount?
Senator Matt O'Sullivan
>> It's a it's a bucket. It's an un an unallocated amount.
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> Yep. Um the Bruce Highway South corridor package, as I understand it, there are 22 projects listed um for a total of 6.69 6975 billion. or is there an unallocated amount there,
Bill Brummitt
Uh was that Senator Bell Brummit, assistant secretary, Queensland Transport and Venues Branch. Uh could you just mention the figure you said
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> Uh for the Bruce Highway South corridor package? >> Yep. >> 22 projects. I've got 66975 6.6 6975 over 22 projects
Bill Brummitt
>> and that's Australian government
Interjection
>> Yes.
Bill Brummitt
>> Yeah. Um so uh the number we have is uh 66 6 bill697 um million six 6.7 billion.
Jessica Hall
So, Senator, I have on the Bruce Highway South Corridor unallocated um uh
Bill Brummitt
>> there's zero
Jessica Hall
>> zero.
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> It sounds like zero is what Mr.
Jessica Hall
>> Zero unallocated in the south corridor
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> on the south corridor. >> Um do we have a there's 37 corridor packages in total around the country as I understand. Do we have um a list of the unallocated amounts against those 37 projects or do you want me to go through them individually?
Jessica Hall
>> We have that information. We can either go through them individually or we can take them on notice and
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> but if you take them on notice I will get 37 zero or an amount next to the 37.
Jessica Hall
>> We can give you the ones that just have amount allocated to them.
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> Let's do that >> if you've got them there. Let's just
Jessica Hall
>> But we'll have to we'll have to work through them all. >> Um because we'll have to
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> Okay. What?
Jessica Hall
>> We can do it off this spreadsheet.
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> Great. Let's go, Mr. Wood.
Bill Brummitt
>> Would you like [clears throat] me to do the Bruce Highway ones? >> Unallocated.
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> Unallocated. Yes.
Bill Brummitt
>> Uh so Bruce Highway central corridor. Uh4 million $4. million dollars. >> Um Bruce Highway North corridor, uh $9.1 million. >> Uh there's a Bruce Highway safety package corridor uh unallocated, $28.7 million. And then u back to the Bruce Highway south corridor unallocated which is uh
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> Okay. Great.
Lachlan Wood
>> Okay. Uh I can do New South Wales.
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> Great.
Lachlan Wood
>> If you like. Um so New England Highway Corridor has no unallocated.
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> So zero.
Lachlan Wood
>> Sorry. Um >> A new highway. [clears throat] We've done Pacific Highway corridor has zero. >> Princess Highway Corridor also has zero. >> Uh moving to the NT, the Industry Roads Corridor has 155 million.
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> Sorry, which one was that?
Lachlan Wood
>> The industry roads corridor. the outback way has 9 0 06 million
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> as unallocated.
Lachlan Wood
>> As unallocated. Yes. The regional roads corridor. >> Mhm. >> 7.5 million unallocated. The Stewart, Victoria, and Barkley highways corridor has 61.4 million unallocated. >> The Tanmai Road corridor has 46.3 million unallocated.
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> Okay, that all doesn't total 37 corridor packages, but will we have to go through Tazzay?
Bill Brummitt
>> I can finish Queensland.
Lachlan Wood
>> Yeah, there's more to that was just NT
Hon Bridget McKenzie
get that on on notice, please, that would be amazing.
Bill Brummitt
>> Yep.
Hon Bridget McKenzie
I just want to um understand if you maintain a record of the total amount of funding within corridor packages that has not been allocated to specific. I know we've already done that. Sorry. are there any corridor packages where the Australian government funding commitment exceeds the combined funding allocated to the project publicly listed on the department website?
Senator Maria Kovacic
>> Um, my question to finalize that um
