composition of that savings? >> 125 of the 2627 budget paper number two. Mr. Mailman, I'm I've got a little extra question for you if you're still around. >> Come on. >> Don't leave it all up to Miss Hall to do the heavy lifting. >> Here he comes. Hello. >> While while they're looking up budget paper number two, so it's a $100 million attributed to the department, I want to know the composition of those savings. My understanding when you referenced unallocated New South Wales road money that that was for Western Sydney roads, not renewable zones. Can you just did I mis here?
Simon Milnes
>> No, no. Um, sorry. The unallocated there's three sources. One's corridor unallocated.
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> Sorry. Say say it again so I can
Simon Milnes
>> So there is for unallocated funding there are three sources. One's corridor unallocated, >> one's state unallocated and one's national unallocated. So in terms of um the these two projects they drew on state unallocated first insuff but there wasn't in sufficient funding so then it drew on national unallocated
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> national unallocated which >> and so just the two projects remind me which they are again
Simon Milnes
>> so I think that's the western uh western highway >> um and the renewable energy zones
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> renewable energy zones okay
Simon Milnes
>> so I think that the name changed in
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> so this I want to Understand the state the New South Wales state unallocated. That is the first pot that we draw of.
Simon Milnes
Yes.
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> On those three. >> What did the state refuse? Like where taken from in order to My understanding was that was Western Sydney roads. Yeah. So I just let's clear that up.
Simon Milnes
>> No, no, no. Um so this uh the Western Sydney infrastructure plan I think is what you're referring to. Um, no, that is not part of the state unallocated
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> Do we know where the New South Wales state unallocated money came from?
Simon Milnes
>> So,
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> in order to be going to the Western Highway
Simon Milnes
>> so the the the government allocated funding to um that uh New South Wales state and allocated so at I think I'm not sure which budget or my but um the government would allocated funding
Hon Bridget McKenzie
Where did the New South Wales state government take the unallocated money from in order to put it into the Western Highway? My understanding the money unallocated for New South Wales roads beyond the Ford estimates was intended allegedly to deliver Western Sydney roads once current planning projects were completion completed. Has that decision been made or is that have we taken has New South Wales taken that unallocated component that was supposed to go into Western Sydney roads post the forward estimates and and put it into the Western Highway.
Simon Milnes
>> So this is Australian government funding for >> for New South Wales that is part of New South Wales unallocated funding. >> So it's not New South Wales.
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> It's not New South Sorry. Yeah. Got it.
Speaker 15
100 million uh came from the community development grants program >> under uncommitted money. >> It was uncommitted money.
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> It was uncommitted. And where did it go?
Speaker 15
>> It was uncommitted. So it was returned
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> return consolidated
Speaker 15
>> and then allocated as per
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> Yep.
Speaker 15
>> page 125.
Hon Bridget McKenzie
Um there was a note against community development grants saying that um in last estimates that $ 105.4 million profiled in the 2425 year was reported as return to consolidated revenue. The documents also reported $17.9 million remained unallocated at the end of 2526. Have all CDG projects now been completed and all funding expended?
Speaker 15
>> So in terms of program delivery, that's a matter for the relevant outcome which
Hon Bridget McKenzie
is >> understand. I'm just interested in what was reported in the budget papers.
Speaker 15
>> Yes. And we'll come back with how much is uncommitted.
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> Y
Speaker 15
>> which I think is the second part of the
Hon Bridget McKenzie
question. >> Okay. Um my questions go to that
Senator Ross Cadell
>> Yeah. I was going to say I'd like to
Hon Bridget McKenzie
lot We've got a lot of balls in the air this morning.
Rachel Parry
>> Yeah, we do. Um the 100.1 million is in fact the accumulation of the $55 million track program, the 45 40.5 million for Australia Post electrification and the $4 million green bunkering strategy. That's separate to the $1.1 billion Arena low carbon liquid program which is administered by Arena.
Hon Bridget McKenzie
>> By Arena. >> Yeah, got it. Thank you. Um and we're coming back with the CDG. Well, I just want to move to
