Senator Chris Gatenby

Um question for the department. So in terms of the amount of people who pass away while waiting for an aged care bed, um what is the current average and median weight for a permanent residential place from approval to entry relevant

Mr Greg Pugh

apologies to walk up just to take on notice? But that's um that's what I'm gonna have to do, Senator. I don't have that right down in front of me.

Senator Chris Gatenby

Okay, so my next question is how many people approved for permanent residential care passed away before entering a home since first of November last year? Would you have that to hand?

Mr Greg Pugh

Well, I can take that one on notice as well, Senator.

Senator Chris Gatenby

Um if if you can do that and break it down by a quarter, that would be useful. Um do we know then in terms of we were talking about bed block before, but how many of how many people who have passed away died in hospital while waiting for a place?
