Enhanced income management uh is available in Seduna in South Australia. Is Kimberly under Goldfields and WA? Yep. Bunderburg and Herbie being Queensland? Keep York and Duman Domagic. Domagene in Queensland in the Northern Territory as well.

Kirsti Van Der Steen

Yeah, and uh also Rockhampton and Livingston in Queensland and Logan in Queensland and Bankstown in uh New South Wales and Greater Shepperton in Victoria.

Hon Anne Ruston

Okay, so in effect, every single place that previously had some form of income management when this policy division is taken, still has uh access to advanced income management. So that the actual footprint of where this service is available has not changed. No, no, okay.

Corri McKenzie

Senator, it might assist as well, just that um the there was a couple of elements to the um to the commitment, um, one of which of course was around the cashless debit card and the introduction of enhanced income management. And so that's those regions reflect locations where enhanced income management is available.

Hon Anne Ruston

So what's the difference in terms of the operation of enhanced income management of the cashless debit card in the practicality of the person on the ground? What do they see that's different?

Corri McKenzie

Uh I mean that we can we can take that on notice, Senator, in the sense that there is a um I mean there's a there's a range of differences around the the card, the nature of the card, the provisions and um authorisations around the card. Um so there's a series of things that are quite detailed. I don't think I have them to hand, but I'm very happy to take them on notice and come back with a different issue.

Hon Anne Ruston

Sure, I really look forward to seeing that. Um are you undertaking any work in relation to expanding the footprint of any of the programs?

Corri McKenzie

Uh we continue to provide a whole range of policy advice to government.

Hon Anne Ruston

That's not a no then.

Corri McKenzie

It's we're it's not a we're continuing to provide a whole range of different advice to government. In relation to that commitment. Can I just ask about the data that you actually collect? Are you able to provide the breakdown by gender of the people who are actually participating in enhanced? Yes, we have to do that. Family groups by family. Family children. Family groups in terms of the number of people who are on enhanced income management who have dependent children. Um we can possibly do that in relation to the nature of the payment that they receive. The income support payment. So I think that might which wouldn't necessarily indicate um depending on depending on which parent receives a payment, for example. It would give you an indication. Give me an indication of women who were desperate to stay on. On this card. Yeah. Right. We can give you a breakdown by a payment type and gender, if that's and that will tell me whether there's how many families are actually benefiting from the enhancement part. Yeah. Whether well, it will give you on the basis of the data how many parents with dependent children for the purposes of income support are on enhanced income management. Thank you.
