Senator David Shoebridge
>> No, I appreciate that. But the theeffect is that parents who can beelderly have gone through the process offlying to Australia. That can be quitearduous for some. um often then they'veput the parent application on whilethey've been here on a visiting visa andthen had bridging visas um or granted. That's no longer going to be availablebecause of this ministerial direction. Now even elderly parents um even frailparents will have to fly back overseas, make an application offshore and becausethey're making the application offshorethey'll be put at the back of the queue. That that's the reality, isn't it?
